For over 20 years, J. Kendall “Kenny” Smalls has been committed to the field of Human Embryology and Fertility. He is also committed to educating minority communities on the advancements in infertility and treatments.

Kenny holds a Bachelor of Science in Biology (minor in Computer Science) from Morgan State University and a Master’s of Science in Clinical Embryology from the University of Leeds in the United Kingdom where he was the first African-American in the program’s history to graduate. Kenny is a highly skilled Embryologist who has trained with some of the most revered leaders and scientist in the field of In-Vitro Fertilization.

In late 2009, Kenny formed the corporation J Kendall LLC/JK Fertility, to provide fertility information specifically for women of color and those who are apprehensive about fertility treatments. His goal is to enlighten communities of color about the advancements of in-vitro fertilization with the expectation that doing so will take away the shame and misinformation currently associated with it.

Kenny is also committed to providing affordable IVF treatment options for patients who may need assistance. Currently Kenny is the IVF manager at Global Fertility & Genetics with offices in New York City and China.
